Why Rosemary for Scalp and Hair?
Rosemary has long been treasured in traditional hair care for its invigorating, clarifying, and antioxidant properties. A few spritzes add a fresh botanical touch to your routine while helping hair feel clean, soft, and cared for.
Winter brings its own set of challenges. Dry air and indoor heat can leave hair feeling parched, while hats, scarves, and layers can contribute to static, friction, and tangles. Rosemary Hydrosol gives you a lightweight way to refresh your hair throughout the season without reaching for another oil or heavy product.
About Our Hydrosols
Hydrosols are made during the steam distillation of fresh plant material. As the plant is distilled, the aromatic compounds carried in the steam are collected in water, creating a fragrant botanical water.
They offer a much lighter way to work with plants than essential oils. Essential oils are highly concentrated and need to be properly diluted for topical use. Hydrosols are already water-based and can be misted directly onto the skin and hair.
Our hydrosols are copper distilled in small batches on our Iowa farm, preserving the fresh character of the botanicals we work with.
Ingredient: Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Distillate
How To Use:
Mist onto the scalp and roots, parting the hair as needed, and massage gently with your fingertips. For additional moisture and manageability, mist lightly through the lengths and ends. Use after washing, between washes, after a workout, or whenever your hair needs a fresh pick-me-up. Leave in and allow to dry naturally. Use daily or whenever it fits your routine.

Rosemary Hydrosol is a lightweight botanical hair mist made from copper-distilled rosemary. It can be used on the scalp, roots, and lengths of the hair to refresh between washes, revive tired-feeling hair, and add a fresh herbal step to your routine. It is especially well suited to winter hair care, when cold weather, dry indoor air, hats, and scarves can leave hair feeling dry, static, tangled, or difficult to manage. Unlike rosemary essential oil, rosemary hydrosol is a gentle, water-based preparation that does not require dilution before use.
