What Is a Hydrosol?
Hydrosols are created through steam distillation. As the plant material is distilled, aromatic steam is condensed back into water, carrying with it water-soluble plant compounds and a subtle botanical aroma.
The result is a gentle botanical distillate that can be used directly on the skin, without the intensity of an essential oil.
Spearmint has long been valued in herbal skincare for its refreshing and clarifying qualities. Its hydrosol is especially lovely for combination or oily skin, helping the complexion feel fresh and balanced without leaving it feeling stripped.
Its naturally cooling feel makes it a refreshing addition to your routine during warmer months, after time outdoors, or anytime your skin could use a little refresh.
How To Use:
Cleanse → Spearmint Hydrosol → Serum → Facial Balm
After cleansing, mist Spearmint Hydrosol over face and neck. While skin is still slightly damp, press 2–3 drops of First Light in the morning or Moonlit Rest at night into the skin. Finish with a small amount of facial balm.
It can also be used throughout the day as a refreshing mist for the face, neck, or body. In summer, it works beautifully as a cooling skin refresher.
